Scrap buyer in Secunderabad, Hyderabad

Secunderabad is the older twin, and it still reads differently from the city across Hussain Sagar. The British laid it out as a cantonment town in 1806, and that origin is the reason for the wide roads, the parade-ground scale, and the low colonial-era bungalows sitting on generous plots through the Cantonment and Trimulgherry.

That mix decides what we collect here. A bungalow belt throws out different scrap from a housing board flat: bigger single-piece items, old ferrous gates and grills, cast-iron baths and pipework, garden and outbuilding metal, and decades-old appliances from houses that were built to last. We also get genuine clearance work here, where a bungalow is changing hands, an office is refitting, or a shop on MG Road is shutting down.

The commercial spine is where the volume is. MG Road and SD Road have been trading for well over a century, and shops and offices along them turn over counters, fittings, signage, shelving and the office e-waste that goes with them. Because Secunderabad spills into Bowenpally, Marredpally and Balanagar, most of our work here is a mixed load: a shop refit and a household clear-out on the same run.
