Cast iron frames carry a premium
Old machine tools and presses are built on heavy cast iron beds, which grade higher than general steel. That weight is where a lot of the value sits.
Motors are worth separating
An electric motor is steel on the outside and copper windings inside. We recover the copper rather than pricing the whole motor at steel weight, which is a common way sellers lose money.
We dismantle, you do not
Machinery is heavy, often bolted down, and awkward to move. We handle the dismantling, cutting and lifting rather than leaving you to break it up before we arrive.
Drain the fluids if you can
Oil, coolant and hydraulic fluid need correct handling. Drain them before we arrive if that is practical, or tell us on the call and we will bring the right containers.

Do you buy machinery that is still working?
Yes, though a working machine may be worth more to a dealer than as scrap. Tell us the make and model when you call and we will tell you honestly which route pays better.
Do you dismantle the machinery on site?
Yes. We handle dismantling, cutting and lifting, including machines bolted down inside a factory or plant room.
What about the oil and coolant inside?
Drain it before we arrive if you can. If that is not practical, tell us on the call and we will bring the right containers and take it away safely.
