Begumpet was Hyderabad’s airport until 2008, and the area still carries that history. The old airport road is the spine of it, and the commercial quarter that grew up around the terminal is still offices, hotels and institutional buildings rather than housing. The land around the former terminal has been steadily rebuilt over the years since, which is why the buildings here are a mix of decades rather than one era.
That makes the scrap here commercial first. Office floors turning over furniture, partitions, cabling and machines. Hotels and function halls refitting rooms, kitchens and air conditioning. Institutional buildings replacing plant and fittings. The residential pockets behind the commercial strip are real but secondary, and they are older houses rather than towers, so the loads there are accumulated rather than new.
