  • Grade, and the spread is wide

    Bright copper, also called millberry, is bare uncoated wire and carries the highest rate of any common scrap. Number 1 copper is clean pipe and bus bar. Number 2 has solder, paint or light oxidation. Insulated wire is the lowest of the four.
