Copper content sets the rate
Brass is copper and zinc in varying proportions. Higher copper content means a higher rate, which is why plumbing fittings and valves usually beat mixed decorative brass.
Handles and washers come off
Plastic handles, rubber washers and steel screws are weight you are not paid for. Taking them off before we arrive lifts the rate on the whole load.
It moves with two markets
