Kondapur is the apartment belt that houses the IT workforce. It sits between Gachibowli and Kukatpally, and almost all of it is residential: mid-rise and large apartment complexes, stacked along the Main Road and the lanes behind it, with a commercial strip running through the middle.
Unlike the newest towers further west, Kondapur is settled. Much of this stock is ten to twenty years old, which means the flats are on their second or third round of appliances rather than their first, and the buildings have been through enough tenancy changes that the fittings show it. That makes Kondapur a volume area: a lot of ordinary household work rather than a few large industrial loads.
The commercial strip is what gives it a second stream. Kondapur Main Road carries clinics, restaurants, gyms, coaching centres and shops, all serving the apartment population around them, and those units refit and change hands on a rolling basis. Between the two, most of our Kondapur work is a mixed load off one run: an appliance pickup from a tower and a shop refit on the same street.
